About

Cheryl Laidlaw

I bought my first home at age 19. The experience was such a pivotal moment that it inspired me to eventually become a Realtor. Victoria has been my home since 2001, and I have enjoyed being a Realtor here since 2007. Prior to that, I was a legal assistant specializing in real estate for over 15 years in Vancouver, Nanaimo and Victoria, so it was obvious that this has always been my calling!

Since 2007, I have been a multiple MLS Silver and Gold Award winner and have earned multiple Royal LePage President’s Gold, Director’s Platinum and Diamond awards as well. Accolades aside, the most important thing to me is building long-lasting relationships with my clients, knowing that they are happy with what we have accomplished together. Apart from benefitting from my expertise and knowledge, my clients can expect honesty, diligence, reliability and a good sense of humour!

“More than 95% of my business is comprised of repeat and referral clients, and I think this speaks to the exceptional service my clients know they will receive when working with me.”

I am also a steadfast believer of giving back to the community that supports me. To this end, I am a consistent top donor to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation which supports the Greater Victoria Women’s Shelter Society, the Cridge Centre for the Family and Victoria Women’s Transition House, among others; as well as a monthly contributor to the SPCA. In my spare time, I love scuba-diving, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking and Crossfit. Promoting a healthy lifestyle is another of my passions, so throughout the year, I enthusiastically support many individuals and teams in their fundraising efforts, such as Saanich Det. Janis Carmena’s ride in the 2016 Tour de Rock and Firefighter Matt Arnsdorf’s ride in 2018.

The saying goes that “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life”.  I’m very fortunate to love what I do every day! Where you lay your head every night affects you every single day and I’m honoured to be a part of that momentous decision.
